Who is this newsletter for?
There often seems to be a mismatch between AI-themed discussions and the decisions that each of us are taking day to day. Is work as we know it over? Will AIs take over the world? Is AI a Very Bad Thing? No doubt, these are some of the pressing philosophical and political questions of our age. However, if the domain that you control is smaller than the future of humanity then these discussions risk moving you further from a solution, not closer to one.
This newsletter is an attempt to digest what is happening and put it into a form that you can use to actually make decisions or make change happen. We try to answer: What matters? Each month we read and discuss the latest academic articles, product announcements, policy papers, cool demos & VC think pieces. We will include summaries and links to the originals if you want to dive deeper.
This newsletter is for leaders facing decisions like:
Should I use AI tools? If yes, what for?
How, if at all, should we change the way we run our business?
What does this mean for my workforce? How can I be a good boss?
What are other people going to do with AI that I should be prepared for?
If that sounds like you then read on!
What will I get?
The digest will be sent out about once a month. In each edition the first two sections will be the most directly applicable to organisations grappling with Generative AI caused disruption. They’ll focus on:
What is Generative AI good for?
How to successfully integrate Generative AI into existing organisations
Later sections will zoom out slightly and will include:
Specific topics that we have been working on
Discussions of the wider landscape in which everyone operates
Summaries of articles that are being hotly discussed in the AI world that James & Lewis partly inhabit.
Read what interests you - and if there’s something that you’d like covered that we ignore then please let us know!
